Farmdoc offers coronavirus webinars

With the coronavirus causing unprecedented disruption in the U.S. and global economies, the University of Illinois farmdoc team is offering a series of webinars to discuss the impact the coronavirus crisis on Corn Belt agriculture.

 

The webinars are expected to be 30 minutes long, but can be extended if necessary. Each webinar will begin with brief presentations, with the bulk of the time available to answer questions from attendees.

 

Upcoming webinars will begin at 11 a.m. March 20, March 24, March 27 and March 30. The first webinar will be hosted by Jim Lowe, University of Illinois Veterinary Medicine College, and U of I ag economist Todd Hubbs. They will discuss the virology of the coronavirus pandemic and its impact on the general economy and agriculture.

 

Registration is free, but preregistration is required here.  Registration is limited to 1,000 participants.
