Congratulations to Farm Bureau members Ross and Roberta Vondrak of Countryside for completing all 12 months of Ag Adventure crossword puzzles featured in the Co-Operator in 2021. A total of 21 CCFB members also completed all 12 months of the puzzle and the Vondrak’s name was drawn as the winner of a local agriculture gift basket. Bob Rohrer, Cook County Farm Bureau Manager, and Diane Merrion, Director of Ag Literacy presented the basket which included a soy candle, corn holders, local honey, popcorn, a variety of our favorite Ag in the classroom books, gift cards, locally produced products such as oatmeal and tootsie rolls, and much more. The Vondraks have been members since 2013 and love supporting area food pantries, gardening, and their grandchildren.
