The Nominating Committee of the Will-South Cook Soil & Water Conservation District is seeking nominees interested in servicing on the Board of the District. Three Directors will be elected from the process during a ballot process at the Feb 16th annual meeting of the district. Persons that own or occupy land within the boundaries of the district and are of legal voting age are eligible to run. The term is two years. District Board meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month. Responsibilities include program management, financial management, personnel management, legislation, and serving on District committees. Open enrollment for consumers purchasing individual health insurance has been extended by a month opening November 1 and closing January 15. Farmers and other members buying individual health insurance, whether at Healthcare.gov or off-exchange must enroll during that window to secure coverage for 2022.
