Ag in the Classroom Welcomes New Presenters

Mr. Kolweier grew up on a dairy and grain farm in southern Illinois and graduated from Southern Illinois University with B.S and M.S degrees in agronomy. He also completed a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Organization Development at Loyola University in Chicago. His career includes working 24 years in agribusiness throughout the country in Sales, Training & Development, Human Resources, and Organization Development roles and recently retired from Dale Carnegie of Chicago. Mr. Kolweier has a passion for helping students reach their potential through on-going education.

 

Mr. Galassini grew up in South Holland, IL, which was once dubbed the “Onion Set Capital of the World,” so he gained an appreciation for agriculture at an early age. After graduating from the University of Illinois with a BS in Mathematics he worked in the oil industry for 30 years. The introduction of bio and renewable fuels allowed him to develop a unique perspective on the intersection of agriculture and energy. During his corporate career Mr. Galassini was involved in training both domestically and internationally, and he is currently a part-time educator focused on energy industry operations, fundamentals, and economics. Mr. Galassini has a passion for teaching especially when it comes to the impact agriculture has on our everyday lives.
