Dear Valued Member...

10/01/2021 @ 3:45 pm

We would like to personally thank you on behalf of the board and staff for renewing your membership in the Cook County Farm Bureau®. The past two years have been difficult for many of our members with the pandemic and members have faced challenging times.

Throughout these difficult years, your Cook County Farm Bureau has offered resources, information, and programs for necessary and essential support to you and our other members, farmers and farm owners, workers, small businesses, parents and youth, and affiliated companies.

We have seen firsthand the important role farming and agriculture plays every day in everyone’s lives in the Chicagoland area. We continue the important work with area food, fiber, and fuel farm producers to help them be able to provide high-quality, farm fresh products to local consumers.

Cook County Farm Bureau membership remains the best value in town. We thank you for your membership and we do look forward to serving you!

Best wishes!                                                                Best wishes!

Janet McCabe, President                                            Bob Rohrer, CAE, FBCM, Manager

Commodity/Marketing – A variety of programs and activities connect consumers with area farmers and members with vegetable production, greenhouses, livestock, corn/soybeans, honeybees, industrial hemp, composting, community gardens, and much more.

Member Relations – Members are the lifeblood of the organization, and we seek to deliver a full and comprehensive membership experience through our services, benefits, discounts, programs, and activities package.

Public Relations - Through in-person programs and social media, Chicagoland residents and area consumers who have a natural curiosity about farming, farming practices and agricultural topics gain answers and insight.

Governmental Affairs - CCFB seeks to inform, engage, and influence elected officials and leaders locally, regionally, in the state and federally for quality farm and food policy.

Young Leaders - Younger members ages 18 – 35 enhance leadership skills and serve area agriculture’s needs in an enjoyable format.
