New to the Crawl, the Demonstration Farm’s Sarah Batka, Local Foods Small Farms Program Coordinator, U of I Extension, along with farm volunteer, Stephanie Stephens, shy Kennedy welcomed CCFB Farm Crawlers. Gotham Greens provided free basil plantings to all who came – thank you!

We ran into CCFB member crawlers along the way: Barbara and George Clark picked up some fresh produce, while Galena Krueger cut her own fresh sunflowers, a freebie offered to crawlers at Zeldenrust Farms.

JoAnn Shultz, owner of Deer Creek Farm, helped Crawlers create beautiful bouquets from fresh cut flowers grown on the farm and providing tours of her goats!
