5 things a member should know about the Cook County Farm Bureau® Ag Literacy program for the upcoming school year…
- Our traditional “in school” field trip presentation has been converted to a “virtual in school” field trip presentation that can be requested through our Ag Literacy Department and presented virtually live or pre-recorded.
- For those schools that have students returning in person, our traditional “in school” field trip presentation option remains available to teachers.
- Our Ag Literacy program is providing information and access to the innovation and creativity of the Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom virtual field trips and hands-on lessons through Facebook and our website.
- Our Ag Literacy program is developing more virtual activities and agricultural experiences for families to enjoy together.
- Our Ag Literacy program is working with middle and high schools in the Chicagoland area by providing agricultural science and agricultural career connections for students.
