Entry: To enter, like Cook County Farm Bureau®’s Facebook, page https://www.facebook.com/Cook.County.Farm.Bureau.IL/, and comment, view or share the “Grocery Giveaway” post or video. 

Prizes:  Winners have a chance to win one of five farmstand gift cards valued at $250.00. Prizes will be drawn for each month in June through September.  No prize substitution, transfer, or cash redemption allowed by winner.  Any taxes on a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the featured prizes become unavailable.

Prize Award and Drawing: At the end of each month, one winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. Drawing will take place during the week following the end of the month.  Drawing and awarding of prizes will be conducted by Sponsor, whose decisions on all matters relating to this sweepstakes are final. Potential winners will be notified by email following the drawing and may be required to provide additional publicity or liability releases.

Potential winners will receive a confirmation email providing instructions on how to claim and/or redeem the prize (as applicable), subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the terms of these Official Rules.  Prizes must be claimed within five (5) days of receipt of the confirmation email. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded.  Sponsor's judgments regarding any aspects of the Promotion and these Official Rules, including without limitation determination of winner and award of prizes, are final and binding.

Odds: Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Employees of Sponsor, and members of any employee’s immediate family, are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.  The Promotion is subject to all applicable laws and legal requirements and is void where prohibited.  By participating in the Promotion, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to these Official Rules and agree that Sponsor's decisions in connection with the Promotion are valid, final, and binding.

Publicity: By participating in the Promotion, entrants agree to the use of their names, likenesses, and biographical data by Sponsor and its designees if selected as a winner for advertising, promotional, and other purposes in any or all media now or hereafter existing, without additional compensation, permission or notification (except where so prohibited by law). If entrant is chosen as a prize winner, entrant's personal identifying information (limited to name, city and state) may be disclosed to third parties including, without limitation, placing such information on a winner's list.

Disputes: If multiple users of the same email account register and a dispute thereafter arises with respect to the identity of the entrant, the authorized account subscriber of the email account at the time of participation will be deemed the entrant and that entrant must comply with these Official Rules.  "Authorized account subscriber" means the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other entity, responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.

General Conditions:  Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, cancel, suspend, or change the Promotion in whole or in part, upon discovery of any fraud, attempt to impair the proper functioning or operation of the Promotion, or any other event beyond Sponsor's control that impairs the integrity of the Promotion, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor further reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any person that they determine to be tampering with or violating the Official Rules of the Promotion, or otherwise acting in an unfair or unsportsmanlike manner.  Any attempts to undermine the Promotion may be a violation of federal, state, or local criminal or civil laws. Sponsor reserves the right to seek prosecution and seek damages from persons violating such laws.  Sponsor's failure to enforce any provision of the Official Rules shall not be a waiver of that provision.

Release and Limitations of Liability:  Entrant agrees to fully release from all liability and hold harmless Sponsor and its respective affiliates and subsidiaries, and each of all of their respective officers, directors, shareholders, agents, employees, members, successors and assigns, from any loss. damage, injury or expense to entrant or any third party resulting from participation in the Promotion including but not limited to the following:  (A) acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize; (B) administration of the Promotion; or IC) participation in the Promotion.  Entrant agrees to waive all rights to claim or collect punitive, incidental, consequential or special damages.  ENTRANTS ACKNOWLEDGE PRIZES ARE AWARDED AS-IS. SPONSOR MAKES NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO. IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE LAWS OR NONINFRINGEMENT AS TO THE PRIZES OR ANY COMPONENTS THEREOF. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. All causes of action relating to the Promotion will be resolved individually without resort to any form of collective or class action.  Any and all claims, judgments or awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, excluding attorneys' fees.  In no event will entrant be entitled to received attorneys' fees or any other costs.

Governing Law: Any dispute arising out of the Promotion, including without limitation, any issue or question relating to the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or rights and obligations of the entrant or Sponsor in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the internal laws of the State of Illinois, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Illinois or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Illinois.

Contest Period: The Promotion begins on June 5, 2018 at 12:00 a.m. Central Daylight Time ("CDT") and ends on September 10, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. CDT (the "Promotion Period").

Privacy:   Entrants acknowledge that they are providing information to Sponsor and that information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor's Privacy Policy at http://www.cookcfb.org/privacy-policy.

Day: The 24-hour period from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. CDT.

Winners List: For a list of winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Cook County Farm Bureau® Question of the Week, Attn:  Bona Heinsohn, 6438 Joliet Road, Countryside, IL 60525. Requests will only be accepted after the Promotion end date stated above, and no later than 60 Days after the Promotion end date.
