Cook CFB Political Action Committee
Cook County Farm Bureau® PAC (Cook CFB PAC) is a political organization, sponsored by the Cook County Farm Bureau®, designed to promote the economic and social well-being of individuals, farmers, businesses and agricultural-related interests in Cook County through non-partisan political involvement.
Cook CFB PAC is a recently formed group, organized under the strict guidelines of the Illinois State Board of Elections.
What Members get out of Cook CFB PAC
Cook CFB PAC encourages Farm Bureau members to become more aware of and engaged in the electoral process. Additionally, Cook CFB PAC provides support to those candidates supportive of Farm Bureau and Farm Bureau policies.
What Members' Contributions Do
Contributions will be used to support candidates or issues that are in line with Farm Bureau policies. These polices are determined by Farm Bureau members.
Candidate support is determined by a Cook CFB PAC Governance Committee made up Farm Bureau members. All contributions to candidates or elected officials will be made in accordance with Illinois law and Cook County statute.
Members are encouraged to contribute $1. However, members are not obligated to contribute to Cook CFB PAC. The amount that a member choose to contribute, if any, will not impact their membership with Cook County Farm Bureau or any benefits they may receive through Cook CFB. Contributions to Cook CFB PAC are voluntary.
Political contributions are not tax deductible.
