Teacher Professional Development Workshop: Bees, Butterflies and Pollination

CCFB Office (map)
Join us as we explore the important role pollinators' play in agriculture and in nature. We will examine the lifecycles of these insects with a University of IL Master Educator and a honey bee expert from Westside Bee Boyz (who currently manages hives across the Chicagoland area from Lincoln Park Zoo to the Shedd Aquarium to Chicago's downtown rooftops). You will learn ways to bring this exciting topic back to your classroom with lesson ideas and resources while you earn 2 free PDCH. First 20 registrants (who are also present) will receive a pollinator book bundle. All participants will plant a pollinator pot to bring back to their classroom. When: Tuesday, March 7, 2017 4:30-6:30 PM Where: Cook County Farm Bureau 6438 Joliet Road Countryside 60525 Contact Jill at 708-354-3276 or aitc2@cookcfb.org to register
