Farmers Markets
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Chicago
Farmers Markets, presented by the Mayor’s Office of Special Events. For
three years-running, COUNTRY Financial has been the Farmers Markets’
sole presenting sponsor and supports more than 20 downtown and
neighborhood markets through the summer and fall.
COUNTRY will host events and provide giveaways throughout the season,
including:
Re-usable canvas bags featuring the artwork of a Chicago Public
Schools student
Financial representative booths at more than 15 downtown and
neighborhood markets
The COUNTRY Chef Challenge cooking competition on August 6 at
Daley Plaza

COUNTRY is pleased to recognize and support local farmers who are
committed to providing fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, and much more
to Chicagoans. The Farmers Markets attract more than 70 vendors, and
expected attendance will be approximately 750,000.
