The Commodities/Marketing Team is co-sponsoring with the University of Illinois Extension two upcoming programs that area farm producers will want to attend. Both workshops are being held at the U of I Extension facility located at 5527 Miller Circle Drive, Matteson, IL 60443.

Click on full calendar of events, scroll to the February 12 workshop date and follow the instructions for registering. Or call Nancy Pollard or Sharron Liddell at 708-720-7500 before the workshop. (A registration fee of $15 will be charged and is payable at the door. (Cook County Farm Bureau is a local co-sponsor, so members are free.) If calling to register, mention that you are a CCFB member and if you register on line, type "member" where it says "enter discount code" and the fee is $0.

Continuing Education Units in Crop Management (CM) and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) for Certified Crop Advisers, totaling 1.5 and 0.5 hours, respectively, have been requested.
